About DenaSyn Medical

Engineers who ship software.

DenaSyn B.V. is an engineering software company in the Netherlands. We build tools for people who need answers that hold up physically — and we build them small, quickly, and close to the engineers who use them.

Where this came from

Medical is one of five domains DenaSyn works in. We had already built a simulation platform for structural engineering — geometry in, model out, solved in the cloud — and orthopaedics turned out to have the same problem in a harder form: the analysis everyone agrees is better is the one nobody has time to prepare by hand.

So the platform came across, and the medical work is its own product with its own engine. What the domains share is the boring part — accounts, jobs, infrastructure — which is exactly what should be shared.

How we work

Software in engineering is not about replacing judgment. It is about removing the work that stands between a question and an answer. Preparing a patient-specific model by hand — mapping cortical and trabecular bone density case by case, placing an implant, meshing it, checking convergence — takes days that belong to the analysis itself, and every manual step is somewhere an assumption can quietly enter.

One conviction sits above the rest: a model nobody can audit has no place in a design decision. Every value we produce traces back to something a person can check, and the engineer stays the decision-maker — the reasoning we follow is close to ASME V&V 40, the standard this field already uses to ask how much a computational model should be trusted, and for what.

This is engineering software for implant design and research. It is not a medical device, and nothing here is intended for diagnosis or treatment decisions.

Vision

Implant decisions tested against the patient in front of you, not against an average one.

Mission

Make subject-specific modelling routine — the laborious parts automated, and every value traceable back to the scan it came from.

Goal

Grow the component library and the verification suite together, so coverage never outruns what has been checked.
